Canada Youth Fitness Alliance (CYFA)
This spring, CYFA proudly brought families, children, and youth together for a fun-filled outdoor fitness event focused on movement, teamwork, and healthy living.
Held at Garth Webb Track & Field, the event created an exciting atmosphere where participants enjoyed active games, fitness activities, and meaningful community connections.
This event was all about creating joyful experiences for children and families through movement and teamwork. Participants enjoyed interactive fitness challenges, group games, and community activities in a supportive and encouraging environment.
CYFA continues to inspire young athletes by showing that sports are not only about physical health, but also about confidence, friendships, discipline, and lasting memories.
We sincerely thank all volunteers, coaches, and community members who helped make this event successful. Your support and dedication created a welcoming and positive experience for every family who attended.

Excellent activity! It’s been a long time since we had the opportunity to participate in such a fun and meaningful outdoor activity together with our child. The children not only exercised, but also learned teamwork and coordination through games such as tug-of-war. The activities were fun, healthy, and very well organized. We look forward to more activities like this in the future.
From check-in and team grouping to the transitions between activities, the entire event was organized smoothly and professionally. The coaches and volunteers were energetic, supportive, and well prepared. Even with many families and children of different ages participating, the event remained organized and welcoming throughout.
This was not the kind of event where children play while parents watch from the sidelines. Every family member was actively involved. Parents and children participated together, completed challenges as a team, and strengthened their relationships through movement, teamwork, and shared experiences.
